Hello! My name is Ashleigh Jones. I live in the small quiet town of Roberts, IL. I am a mom of 2 kids, a boy and a girl! I am currently in school to receive my bachelors in early education. I have a passion for working with young students and I love to see them grow and excel. I am so excited to join the Thomasboro Grade School, as a teachers aide. We will be doing school registration at Fountain Valley on Wednesday, July 10th from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. We will also be doing registration in the Gym at Thomasboro Grade School on Thursday, July 11th from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. You need to complete online registration prior to July 10th. On the 10th or the 11th your will need the following:
• If your child is new to the district, please bring a copy of the birth certificate, shot records, Illinois physical, and Social Security Number
• Proof of residency for all children (Lease/mortgage, utility bill, voter registration card).
• Kindergarten and 6th graders need to have an Illinois Physical
• We must have the physical on file by September 27th. If we do not have a physical on file we are required by law to exclude your child from school beginning October 1st until proof of a current physical is provided.
• Kindergarteners need an eye exam by October 1st.
Kindergarten, 2nd and 6th graders need a dental exam by May 15th.
Please call your doctor today for an appointment for the mandated exams BEFORE school starts on July 25th.

Hi, my name is April Stark and I am excited to join the TGS family as the Math Specialist. I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. I attended the University of Illinois and graduated in 2002 with a Bachelors in Finance. In 2005 I got married and we decided to make central Illinois our home. In 2020 I received a Masters in Elementary Education. For the past four years I have been teaching Jr. High Math. I live in Champaign with my husband (Brian) and four children. I am looking forward to meeting you and helping the students excel in math!

Hello, my name is Colton Coy. I am from Paxton, Illinois, and graduated from Eastern Illinois University this past Spring. I got my Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology, Sport & Recreation, and I will be the Physical Education teacher for TGS starting this upcoming school year. I am looking forward to this school year and joining the TGS team!
Tonight for 8th grade promotion, please enter through the new entrance on the southwest end of the building. Ceremony starts at 6:00pm, doors open at 5:30. 8th grade students should arrive at 5:30.

Good morning! Due to the field trip today, the bus carrying K, 1, 2, 6, 7, and 8th grade students will leave the school at 3:15-3:20. The students will wait in a bus room for the bus to arrive. It will be a smaller bus than normal. If you would like, you may pick up your student at 3:00 from the school. Please call the office to make arrangements.
