You're invited! This Friday, May 3rd, we are having lunch on the lawn! Kindergarten through fourth grade will eat at 11:20 and fifth through eighth grade will eat at 12:00. You may bring them lunch or they can signup for a hot lunch. This will be rain or shine. We hope to see you all there!
Good morning! As a reminder, during drop off in the morning, traffic should only move south down Phillips Street. This is to provide a safe drop off zone for all students. During pickup, cars picking up students should travel west down Park street, then left on to Phillips Street. Only the bus should pull in front of the school at the main entrance. This is to provide a safe pickup zone for every student.

Attention 5-8th grade families- Our annual spring dance will be Friday, May 3rd from 6:00-8:00pm. It is a neon theme! DJ Fireproof will be here! Only 5-8th grade TGS students welcome. Tickets are $2 in advance and $3 at the door. There will be a concession stand for students to purchase food and drinks.

You're Invited! Our talent show is tomorrow at 10am. Students have been working very hard to practice and are excited to perform in front of their family and friends!

Good morning! Due to the cold, rainy weather we have had this week, we decided to move our egg hunt to Tuesday, April 9th. Have a great weekend!
KINDERGARTEN PRE-REGISTRATION
Kindergarten Pre-registration will be Thursday April 11th and 12th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Come to the school office for registration paperwork.
Spectrum will be conducting Pre-K screenings for any student that is 3 years old by April 16, 2024. Please see attached flyer.

3rd Quarter Grades are posted. You can access your child's report card via TeacherEase. If you require a printed copy you may contact the office and we will print one for you.
Reminder- we have 3:00 dismissal today. The 1:55 dismissal originally scheduled for today was moved to March 27th to accommodate IAR testing for 3-8th grade students.
The Board of Education of Thomasboro Community Consolidated School District, No. 130 will meet to conduct a Public Hearing on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at 5:45 p.m. to receive public comment on a proposed waiver application, which if approved would allow the district to apply for wavier of the Administrative Expenditure Limitation established in Section 17-1.5 of the School Code.
The Public Hearing will be held in the gym, at Thomasboro Grade School, 201 N. Phillips, Thomasboro, IL. 61878.
Testimony on said waiver application will be taken during this Public Hearing.

This is a big week for our 3-8 grade students, it is IAR testing week. Please make sure your student gets plenty of rest each night. These tests are very important, so please encourage your student to take their time and do their best. To ensure ultimate success, students and staff may dress comfortable this week, must be school appropriate. We are offering a special attendance incentive each day this week. Students have the chance to earn an attendance point for each day, 5 total. They must be on time to school to receive the point. On Friday, they may “spend” their points. We will have items for them to buy. We appreciate your support at home to ensure students are successful!
Reminder! Tonight is Title 1 Family Night, We Love to Read! Doors open at 5:30. Chef Dave has prepared his famous spaghetti dinner, salad, garlic bread, and special dessert! It is out of this world, yum! The dinner is free for TGS students and their immediate family. Please join us for food, fun, and games! The evening will conclude at 7:00. See you soon! ❤️🍝🥗🍨

Paralympian Nichole Millage visited TGS and taught the girls sitting volleyball. They had a blast and got to hold an actual gold medal from the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics! 🏐🏅
