It is our pleasure to welcome our new 1st Grade Teacher Mrs. Martin.
My name is June Martin and I will be teaching 1st grade at Thomasboro Grade School this coming school year. The last 10 years I have taught 1st grade in Champaign Unit 4 and I taught pre-school in previous years. I am married to a wonderful man and I have 3 children and 4 grandchildren. I’m looking forward to teaching in the Thomasboro community.

Miss Bean hatched baby chicks just in time for the summer school kids to be a part of it!
Miss Cimarusti hatched baby chicks last week. She also added 2 duck eggs to try to hatch. This little baby duckling hatched this morning, of course it waited until all of the students were gone for the summer. Please share with your student!

Reminder- tomorrow is Field Day! We have so many fun activities planned for the students! Water games, an obstacle course, an Ameren lineman with "My Safe City", Raminator, and the Thomasboro Fire Department to "water" the students! We recommend students bring a towel to dry off with and an extra set of clothes. Tomorrow is also the last day of school for the year. We have 11:30 dismissal. We hope you all have an amazing summer!
Parents, the school year is quickly coming to a close. Please return the Chromebooks that you have checked out by the last day of school 5/25/2023. You can send the Chromebook and charge cords to school with your student and have them give them to their teacher. Thank you.

Reminder! Tomorrow, May 12th, is lunch on the lawn. The weather is looking questionable. We will send out a message in the morning to confirm or reschedule. If you plan on attending, please bring something to sit on, blanket, towel, chair, etc. A red slip was sent home with you student to RSVP. If you did not receive that, please call the school to RSVP. Reminder! Friday, May 12th is lunch on the lawn. IF it rains, lunch on the lawn will be Friday, May 19th. 5-8th grade will eat at 11:55 and Kindergarten- 4th grade will eat at 12:35. Hot lunch will be available for students. You may bring outside lunch for your student. Families are welcome! Hope you all can make it!

May 12th - Lunch on the Lawn. Lunches are 11:55-12:40 for the 5th -8th grade students and 12:35-1:15 for the Kindergarten – 4th grade.
May 12th – Junior High Dance
May 17th 1:55 p.m. Dismissal
May 19th – Rain Date for Lunch on the Lawn
May 24th – 8th Grade Promotion 6:00 p.m.
May 25th – 11: 30 Dismissal – Last Day of School
May 30th- June 2nd – Summer School
June 5th – 8th – Summer School
June 12th – Online Registration Opens for Next School Year
July 11th – In-person Registration 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
July 12th – In-person Registration Noon- 7:00 p.m.
July 26th – First Day of School For Students
Online Registration will open June 12th. Please log into your TeacherEase Account and register your children online. We will have in-person registration that ALL must attend. We will complete the registration process and collect fees at the in-person registration. In- Person Registration is July 11th and 12th. July 11th 8:30a.m. -3:00 p.m. July 12th Noon to 7:00 p.m.
