Dear TGS Families,
Well Spring Break is over, but we are not able to return to school. We miss our students and know that this is not an easy time for many of us. We are going to learn how to do school a little differently for a while.
We have been doing food distribution at the school for a week and it has gone really well. We have a few changes to the process. Starting Monday, March 30th we will hand out breakfast and lunch from 10:30 a.m. -11:30a.m. On Monday we will give out enough food for 3 days. Then on Thursday we will do another distribution from 10:30 a.m. -11:30 a.m., giving out enough meals for 2 days. Please remember anyone 18 years and younger is eligible for the meals. Pick up for meals is through the west gym door.
On Monday, March 30th from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Tuesday, March 31st from 10 a.m. – noon, we will be passing our student instructional packets. We would like parents to come to the school in their cars, and form the line like they do for car rider pickup. NO WALK UPS! Parents must get in the one way car rider line. We will walk up to your car and give you the instructional packets. The packets will include one weeks’ worth of instructional material. On Tuesday, April 7th between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m., please use the car rider line, and drop off your packet and pick up the next packet. We will continue with Tuesday from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. for pick up and drop off of packets during the remote learning time.
We appreciate each of our families, you have been so supportive during this transition. Thank you for being patient with us as we learn a new way of teaching and learning.
Stay safe and healthy and if you have a question please email me at email@example.com
